Freedom Hubba Ft. Ricky Kej Live | Independence Day Special
We hosted a special Independence Day concert on the occasion of India’s 78th Independence Day, in collaboration with the Government of Karnataka. Featuring 3 time Grammy award winning artist, Ricky Kej, the concert aimed to celebrate local musicians who have taken India to the global stage.
Although the infamous Bengaluru rains announced their entry before many of the attendees did, the evening went along perfectly with an opening act by Rahul Vellal, followed by Ricky Kej in performance with his multi- talented, 8 member band.
We witnessed the Ricky Kej magic firsthand with songs like Shine your Light, New Beginnings and Sojugada. His latest release – a new version of the Indian National Anthem, was performed as the closing song for the evening after the audience had sung and danced to their heart’s content. A very rewarding and exciting evening for the UnboxingBLR team indeed.
Hubba in your Park (HYP) | Kalyan Nagar Edition
We have successfully conducted Hubba in Your Park in over 8 parks over the last 2 months, and are so excited to bring you more activities and events under the HYP umbrella!
Anchored by UnboxingBLR, and presented by Westside, ‘Hubba in Your Park’ is a run up to BLR Hubba, the city wide festival in December. Whether it's getting to know the flora and fauna native to your neighbourhood park via Nature Walks, packing in some cardio alongside a Zumba instructor, or enjoying Karnataka’s most famed musicians in action, parks and public spaces spring to life with every Hubba in Your Park.

Science Gallery Bengaluru’s latest exhibition season, Sci560 was on our radar for things to check out this month, so that’s where we headed last weekend :D
An exhibition featuring scientific objects from across the city’s most renowned institutions, Sci560 aims to tell the story of Bengaluru through the pioneering scientific research that the city has fostered through the ages.
The exhibition season, which will run until January 2025 is a great way to not only learn more about the city but also pay tribute to the futuristic inventions and innovations from Bengaluru’s most fascinating minds.
These exhibits in particular blew our mind - ‘Simputer’, ‘Brewing in Bengaluru’, and ‘The First Flight’ - details of which can be found on Science Gallery Bengaluru’s website.
