A recap of the last 30 days @ UnboxingBLR
Community Building in the City
We hosted a discussion at Atta Galatta on 24 February focused on Community Building. The conversation centred around the groups and communities that define Bengaluru’s diverse culture and make the city a hub for art, music, technology and more.
The Young and Single Experience
In collaboration with Lahe Lahe, UnboxingBLR hosted an evening of conversations and performances related to the thrills and spills of being single in Bengaluru. The event featured music, stand-up comedy, and poetry.
3. Learnings From Bengaluru
Our founder Malini Goyal was a guest on OoruLabs, an urban affairs podcast hosted by Bengaluru’s Bicycle Mayor Sathya Sankaran. They discussed how a city’s character evolves and how people’s involvement shapes a city’s identity.
4. Acing it at the Bengaluru Open
The Bengaluru Open, which is part of the ATP Challenger Tour, was held between the 12th and the 18th of February at the Karnataka State Lawn Tennis Association (KSLTA) courts in Cubbon Park. UnboxingBLR was a proud tournament sponsor, and organised ticket giveaways where winners had the opportunity to watch the matches live.
5. 100 Days of Unboxing Bengaluru
‘Unboxing Bengaluru: The City of New Beginnings’ by our founders Malini Goyal and Prashanth Prakash hit the 100-day milestone since launch. Here’s a glimpse of the book launch event and some of the feedback the book has received.
6. Women In Culture
Bengaluru’s cultural identity is constantly evolving, and the driving forces behind this metamorphosis are the pioneers and leaders who form communities and cultural spaces in our city. This Women’s Day, we showed our appreciation for some of the women leading Bengaluru’s cultural renaissance.
